I began my real estate career as an investor. I sought my license in 2004 to make buying and selling homes easier, but soon discovered that I actually enjoyed working with clients and showing and listing homes. That was when I began to dive into all facets of real estate – home construction and maintenance, financing, legal issues, home marketing, and so on.

I learned that one of the basic needs of my clients – the buyers and sellers of Iowa Realty – is finding someone that can help them make good decisions. This often involves finding a real estate agent who puts the client’s best interests ahead of his or her own. Sticking to this philosophy has cost some upfront business and quick sales, but in the long run it has paid off in other ways.

It’s important for me to be a real estate agent that people in Des Moines trust. I was recently fortunate to be  voted “ Best Realtor in Central Iowa” by the listeners of WHO, a popular radio station here in Des Moines.
